He may be just starting to come out of the tunnel. MLC doesn't always last forever, but when they do finally start coming out of the tunnel it usually comes as a shock to the LBS. The alien monster suddenly shows signs of their old self and it's almost as bizarre to the LBS as when they changed into the alien to begin with. Just understand that it's not a liner process, if he is reaching the end of his journey he will likely be in and out of the tunnel a lot. Just stick with your DB'ing and do NOT pursue him! Let him drive the process.
