It's that routine thing with autistic kids. My son was at school a few years ago with a young boy with high functioning autism, good enough to be in mainstream school. He would get very frustrated and upset if there was the slightest change in his routine. They were in the after-school programme together and I'd often see his mother sitting in her car in the parking lot because she'd arrived early. She'd just sit and wait until the right time to go in and collect him.

I know a lad at youth club. His mum's the same, if she goes in early her don tells her off, lol. I wish my H would understand that my son can't stay up until 11pm!
I'm going to have to start a new thread soon. I feel "working on me" is a bit premature, given how I've been this week. What about "trying to work on me"?

The MLC twins again LOL smile. My H has been over the last 3 nights, making up for not coming on Sunday, and each night it's been "oh, it won't hurt him to stay up a bit late". So its been at least 10 every night this week before my son's gotten into bed. At least this morning was the only one I had trouble getting him up.

lol. I've just ordered a book called the messy ministry. It's not a self help book this time, but a religious book on how we shouldn't beat ourselves up for having a messy house or not doing things perfectly. This book is a perfect excuse for me, lol. Now what about the title of my new thread before I get locked smile

Hmmm, that's a tough one. Probably why my thread is up to Pt 4 LOL. Mine is actually a song lyric. I'm already having a look at a few other song lyrics that might suit.

How about something like that? Or a line from one of those Britcoms that suits. Now that would drive MH nuts - he'd have to google the show LOL.
