Well it's got to be something Halloween, it's not like in America when you can dress up what you like. I'll have to go as a witch, it's the only costume I've got, lol

Witches are good. One of the ladies here won our costume competition with her witch costume last year. One of the guys I used to work with in the UK dressed up as a witch one year and he won the competition. The strangest thing at the time was that he looked way too comfortable in those high heels he wore. We found out about six months later that he was having a sex change op - no wonder he looked comfortable dressed as a female witch.
The funniest costume idea we had at the work party last year was one of the women dressing up as a firefighter - not that it was a funny costume. What made it funny was the fact that her house had been badly damaged in a kitchen fire just two weeks earlier (no one was hurt). Everyone thought that it was funny that she chose that costume which was what she intended.
It doesn't matter what you dress up as. It's getting involved with the spirit of the event and taking part. Really good GALing .

Had a good night at Youth Club tonight I really enjoy the interaction with the other youth leaders. They treat me as one of them, even though I'm a volunteer So far it's been just us girls, but we've had a bloke that's started recently. A bit of eye candy as well I'm not sure yet if he's just being friendly or is flirting with me. Whatever it is, I'm not ready for another relationship just yet. It is nice being flirted with though MH knows all about this, lol It's certainly put a smile on my face I think he's a lot younger than me as well, so maybe he is just being friendly. The manageress has given us the date tonight for the Christmas meal Again it's nice to have an invite and being treated equal Got to arrange a sitter now for my son or maybe his Dad will be able to have him. I was thinking today about this joint custody and wondered if that included the cats as well, lol. I love my cats, but the little one can be a pain at times. I have to make sure she's out or in another room before I do any card making. I don't do much because if she's there then she's up on the table and pawing everything off and sniffing everything! lol. There's more stuff ends up on the floor than on the card, lol.

I've had a dry spell with the cabs and the ladies at the library are too well behaved. Also, the Chinese restaurant always has the same woman working, and she's all business! Maybe I should go back to the place with flirty waitress and see if I still have what she's after (a good tip!)

That's it. Our cats are clones. With mine it's the little one that's the pain. Speaking of joint custody, I wonder if the little terror and the W would like to spend some quality time if I manage to save up enough to go visit my family with my next vacation week.
My bigger cat just walked past two cat beds and over a bean bag (or old sick cat used to love sleeping on those) to get onto a storage bin in the closet and into a basket full of winter hats and gloves that he barely fits into for a nap.
Pud, thanks for checking in on me MH, my older cat likes to sleep in the washing basket with the dirty washing not the clean washing thank goodness Off to the job centre today with my friend. She's got an appt this morning then we're off for a bit of lunch before my appt this afternoon. Just hope I got the right day, lol. I'm not ringing them up, I'd feel silly if I have got the wrong day!

I enjoyed my lunch NQ The staff at the job centre are better now They seem to have learnt customer relations, lol. I went to see about this business scheme they were offering, but as usual they only refer you to other business schemes that are affiliated to them. I've got some reading up to do and ringing around My little cat used to go in the dryer, til one day I closed the door and started it up. Luckily I heard a clunk and I stopped it and out she jumped, lol. That was one of her lives gone!
