So the date with Debbie did not happen last night. I guess she either had second thoughts, got cold feet or maybe she got lucky and found her "soul mate" this weekend. I had not heard back from her since last Wednesday when I sent her a second email with suggestions on where we might meet.
Instead I had the a great date with my lovely D15 at the CAPs hockey game last night. I surprised her with tickets to the game once she had completed all of her homework yesterday. We had a blast AND the CAPs won so it was a great evening.
I'm hoping for two positive things this week: 1) To actually have the government reopen so that I can go back to work; and 2) a date with Barbara on either Friday or Saturday.
