((K)). It's good to vent/journal. It's so hard not to obsess, I know from experience. I don't have kids, so I can't even imagine how much worse that is. But I do feel sad when I see the happy couples. Let's keep hoping and keep positive, ok?

Things are rarely as they seem. I remember after W left, we met at S10's school for a parent deal. There was a couple across from us with their kids and it really hurt to see a happy couple when W and I were so broken. Then the W picked up one of the projects and handed it to her H and said "why don't you take this one to your house." ROTFLOL! They were S'd just like us! I was in Walmart getting a new battery yesterday and there was an elderly couple there and the woman behind me in line asked how long they had been married. The woman replied "57 years!" Then the man said "10 of them were really good too!" laugh

I've been feeling the same lately. It's funny how it's the slightest thing that sets you off feeling down! I know what you mean about having the kids around you, they cheer you up smile

AS, your story had me smiling as well. Mind if I share it with one of my coworkers whose H is MLC and has recently walked out on her. She needs a smile smile

Be my guest smile Have you told your coworker about these forums? Sounds like she could use them!

I did but at the moment she's not interested. She does ask me for advice though which is a start and she has ordered DR. She's got a lot on her plate at the moment with her dad having had a stroke right around the same time as her H left her. I'll keep gently working her towards this forum.
