The full answer to her her question would be:

yes. All you have to do is complete any online class and you could do it over a weekend. There is no hurry.

I know I don't owe her an answer and she could figure this out without me. I just feel kinda like a jerk if I have the information and it takes no effort to give it to her yet I withhold just to show that I may not always be available

I think it's jerky.

Put yourself in her shoes.

Let me give up the need to know why things happen as they do.
I will never know and constant wondering is constant suffering.

2nd, my ditch might be different because my W will be nice to me to get stuff.

I actually responded 24 hrs later to my W re insurance card, and said, "Call insurance company, I think they can mail you one."

I went ahead and sent w the info. Now I wait and see what happens next. Seems like such a small thing, but it is my entire interaction with w for a week.

And what happened next is nothing so far... No thank you text, no nothing.. It took me a day to respond, so it will probably take her a few days to acknowledge my response... I know, I know ... Drop the expectations

Happy hump day everyone smile

And still nothing. She asks a question that she could have found the answer to without me .. I answer and get nothing... Does two texts from me and one from her in 10 days count as being dark?

Anyway .. I am super busy with work and my GALs are slipping a bit. Although the local baseball team has a game 5 tonite and our local hockey team has a rookie who seems to be headed straight to the hall of fame. Check out this dude Tomas Hertl... Wow

I saw an ESPN headline that showed his backward-between-the-legs shot, and it said "Hertl Time" (as in Turtle time from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). It was great.

Don't sweat the texts. I actually got to the point where I would make sure I out-waited W by at least an hour. If she took 24 hours to respond, I took 25. It may seem a little petty, but what it did for me was force me to wait, and I started spending less and less time waiting for a text or call to come in. Now, I'm at the point where I just send it, and don't really care.

No contact from w continues.

I wonder if my response to W's last text upset her in some way... I was doing a good job texting May thru July; 95% of the responses I got were very positive. Every text I sent had a specific purpose and I was always extremely careful with the language I would use. When w canceled the Vegas trip, I gave up on the texting program and stopped thinking so much about what I would say when I would text her. Next time she contacts me I am going to respond using the methods that seemed to be working before. Keep doing what works...

So W calls today while I am driving and I don’t answer. Her message said that she was in my part of town and calling to see if I wanted to have lunch with her.
I have not yet returned her call and I don’t even know if I should. I would not have been able to make lunch because I had other commitments. Does this count as one of those times I don’t accept an invitation? (accept some but not others)

Somebody please explain my WAW to me!!! (More of a rhetorical question)

Sometimes she wants me as emotional support. Sometimes she wants me as a drinking buddy. And she has had thoughts of wanting me as a sex buddy. Other times she runs off like she will never speak to me again.

It is really funny to me that the last time we were together she said that it would be really great to sleep with me, but she was concerned about me getting too emotionally attached. She of course has no feelings for me what so ever… So for her it would just be sex. Since when is she concerned about my wellbeing? Even that night she said that she needed to live for herself for a while since she had given so much of herself. I attempted to validate all these thoughts, but in the past when I transcribed my validation attempts here people typically get out the 2x4s.

She pulls me in and then she pushes me away. I guess I am learning that this is typical ..

Anyway, I have my son’s football game to go to and then I am off to play matchmaker between a female and male friend of mine. Lucky them!!

2nd - if you're busy anyway, and can't do lunch, just say so.

Quit trying to figure out W - believe me, it's a losing battle that will just drive you insane. I'm almost insane now! smile

But good for you for football and GALing!
