Hugs to you Betsey - You really are amazing. I think it takes a lot to admit that we have handled things wrong with our Ses. You managed the convo about the taxes incredibly well.
I think the approaching full moon has had a definite effect on the mood on this board and it's definitely NOT good. I've been feeling rather down myself and so have started reading some other threads - and, sorry to say, it seems I can always find a sitch that is worse than mine. Then I wrote a letter to H that I definitely won't mail.
Have a good hump day,
Mary

((((((((((Betsey))))))))) Hope today is going great for you, no matter what's going on...I've been thinking of you this morning. Freckles- I've noticed that I have to be careful which threads I read. There are positive, strong upbeat threads like Betsey and Meredith's, and then there are others that are, shall we say, a little less positive. They affect me. So I steer clear of some sitches that are just too much for me to handle. I want to help, but I can't drown myself doing it... Myrrh

This will be quick because I've got a very big pile of work here and need to leave the office to take D9 to ortho appt later on.
All is well in my ocean. There was absolutely no contact with Mr. W. yesterday so I have no tidbits of progress or backslides to report.
I did take the girls shopping last night, and while I was perusing the evening wear rack, D6 went into a fitting room and went #2 on the floor.... D9 and I ran around frantically looking for something to pick up what was on the floor (fortunately the store was virtually empty thanks to the snow).
We ended up finding some coffee maker filters and discarding it that way. UGH!
I guess she figured the stalls meant a bathroom...
CBH, if I come over for coffee, might you put out that plate of homemade cookies for me? I have a bit of a sweet tooth, and they will go very nicely with my mug of java!
A few postings and it's time to crack the whip on myself.
A good day to all!
Bets

Well, they do kinda look like bathroom stalls. Sounds like you and D9 had things under control. I'm glad yesterday was quiet, and I hope the ortho appointment goes well and quickly today. Hugs, Myrrh

I'm going to send you home with a souvenir. It is called a ‘diaper duck’. It is the handiest little duck that spits out little tiny garbage bags. You reach your hand into the bag, pick up the item that needs disposing and pull your hand through the bag, depositing the item inside. I rank its inventor almost as high as the pacifier’s creator! My friend A found it invaluable while toilet training her daughter, but we use it for all sorts of other messes!
