Wow, Pudmuddle...so sorry to hear about your S's sadness, etc. but I was struck by what a good mom you must be for him to tell you about it. At least, through all this, he can count on you to talk to and to get him the help that he needs!
This marriage stuff is so tough on our kids. Makes my heart hurt...at least, you're teaching your S what it means to work on overcoming difficulties instead of just giving up. He's learning some valuable life lessons from you about strength and courage.
