Don't count on H waking up because of this. You know him best. He may overreact, be punitive toward S, and make things worse. Your son confided to you because he was afraid of his dad's reaction, so in my opinion, you need to wait until S is ready to tell dad or he'll really regret confiding in you and the next time he's down he will not come to you.
Yeah, I know, I am not counting on him waking up because of this. Frankly, I'm growing weary of his being critical and sounding angry. I'm just not looking forward to it. However, like labug said, I don't know what is in the future and I shouldn't worry about it, just deal with it however it plays out.
