You and me both, Pud. We'll have to have ours later. It's okay for TTD, she's in a different time zone to me and it's well past 5:00 there smile

I got into drinking wine until I figured out how many calories were in a glass frown

There's fewer calories in a glass of wine than in beer or spirits, especially if you add mixer to the spirit.

It's easy to walk off a glass of wine - or even vacuum it off LOL. Housework burns off plenty of calories.

But walking is much more fun smile .

I'm thinking of getting a puppy - I'd have no excuse for not walking then. Just not sure I can afford it just yet. Need to get that budget a bit more under control first.

If you get the bus then you've got no choice but to walk! I'm lucky that I've got woods near me and it's lovely to walk through the woods on a dry day smile
When I first read your post then, I thought you meant walking is more fun than drinking, lol. That is until I scrolled up! I wonder what MH is going to say about us girls hijacking his thread smile

I took the bus all the time in the UK - didn't own a car, rented if we needed one. When we first moved over here I took the bus as well, until the company I worked for relocated to another city and I had to buy a car in order to keep the job.

No way is walking more fun than drinking - that'a crazy talk LOL crazy . Anything is more fun than ironing and housework smile
