Definitely. They’re seeming more and more similar so what works on one might work just as well on the other smile

Congrats on tackling the bookcase smile. So what's next on your decluttering list?

I'm not going to get much done this week. Tonight is NCIS and NCIS L.A. with S13, tomorrow is library and H is allegedly coming over to do some more packing (we'll see whether he actually turns up or not wink ), Thursday is Pampered Chef party for me (dropping S13 off to Cadet shooting team try-outs on route) and then Friday night/Saturday we're off to my sister's place and Sunday is H's day to visit S13. Too much GALing this week to declutter smile. H won't be around in the evenings next week as he'll be on late shift so maybe I can fit some in then smile

That's the excuse I make for not doing decluttering, I'm too busy GALing, lol. Sounds like you've got a few things planned smile
My next task is to get rid of this bookcase that I've moved. It's so big I don't want it going back there. I plan to put a table in it's place and maybe have a bookcase on top of it. I've got to finish the wallpaper stripping first when I get my stripper back from my friend. She said she's going to hurry up with it when I said I had an excuse not to do any wallpaper stripping, lol.
Considering I was at college all day, it's been quite eventful! H rang me when I was in lessons so of course I missed his call. I rang him at lunchtime to see what he wanted. He said he was just round our house to pick up his post. He had had a look in the fridge and couldn't find anything to eat so he's going to have to go and buy something. Cheeky so and so! I called him that as well, jokingly of course.
He mentioned that he likes my beauty couch, but I could've vacuumed the carpet first. I validated this and said I know but as I don't go in the conservatory that often I didn't know it needed doing until my friend came round.
IMO if he's going to lie about something, he needs to follow the lie through! He had to drive to my house today and how could he do that when he said on Sunday that his tyres needed replacing. Hmmmm! I didn't say anything of course, but he must think I'm stupid or he's forgotton what lie he told this week!
I texted my friend to ask if she wanted to meet me in town for a coffee, she didn't text me back until 4.45. I'd made other arrangements by then, so I suggested she met me for lunch on Friday. She's still not texted me back! She's the one that moans if someone doesn't text her back immediately! Grrrr!
I arranged with my other friend to meet me in town tomorrow morning to go and look at the salon. I'd planned that she worked the other saturday when I wasn't working. However the hairdresser that I'll be working with got a bit funny about this so now I've had to tell my friend that she can't work the other sat frown I texted the hairdresser to say sorry for assuming she could work and she's not texted me back frown How annoying!
So yes it's been quite an eventful day, lol. I feel good about the way I handles H this time though, I could've easily had a go at him about lying to me smile I'm going to let him letting himself in pass for now as I've got to stay reasonably nice to him and I'll feel like I'm getting stroppy with him if I ask him not to come in when I'm not there. He seems to be paying me more compliments as well, he said on the phone today "oh you are smart!". I'm not reading too much into this though, but it's nice that he's starting to do this smile He also wants me to write down my college times and my son's college times for him. He's asked me before but I've conveniently forgotten to do this smile

It's hard to keep the lies straight. "What a tangled web MLCers weave..." right? If I may paraphrase a bit. My W has never been good at it, or at hiding things. Both times before the BD I could tell what was coming and tried to believe the lies because I wanted to believe. In retrospect they were obvious.

Thanks MH smile I did strain myself a bit moving it, but I'm hoping to get a charity shop to take it away. Failing that I can always advertise it on freecycle smile
