So, had tonight's adventure in town. Went to my meditation class, had dinner and a good walk. Was lugging my backpack with work computer in it. I was going to go to library and work after class, but there wasn't enough time after eating and walking.
So, remember flirty waitress? Tonight, I was hit up on by drunk lady in cab. After apologizing for being silly drunk - and blaming it on work! - something to do with a meeting to learn about wine. Anyhoo. She said "you're cute." And went on and on. After she got out I told the cabbie I thought I played it cool, not taking advantage of the nice drunk lady. He said "you did good."
It does make a person feel good to be flirted with and/or asked out, that's for sure!
But... it's soooo hard to stay on the straight and narrow path when faced with temptation. This is why I do understand why otherwise good people give in to such temptations. When needs aren't being met....
Geez, maybe next week I better head straight home after class and not look anyone in the eye. LOL.
