I forgot to comment on the bit on your thread when you say that they are more positive towards you when they see you making changes. I agree I must get that bookcase sorted I don't know when though as I've got an assignment to finish for college and I don't even know when I'm going to fit that in, lol. It's got to be handed in on Tuesday and I've only got Sunday and Monday evening to finish it!

I don't watch BBT but maybe I should start. S13 has seen a few episodes and thinks it's funny. Not sure how it's going to fit in with decluttering/reorganizing, posting on here, updating FB, doing laundry, cooking, helping S13 with homework, etc, etc, etc - not to mention finding time to watch the other shows that all started this week. My recorder already has 3 hours of TV on it waiting for me to watch and it's only the first week of the new season.
Maybe I'll have to move the TV out of the rec room to the living room so that I can multi-task easier - lol .

lol I think I'll have to move my PC into a dark cupboard somewhere so I can get on with my decluttering, tidying, cleaning, etc. I spend more time on my PC than sitting watching the TV. I get so restless when I watch TV, I keep having to get up to do things. I got a letter for H today and I knew it would put him in a bad mood so I texted him today to tell him about it. If I'd waited until Sunday, he would've opened it and got in a bad mood about it so I just wanted to get it over and done with. He rang me back and told me to open it. He owes the benefits people a lot of money because he didn't tell them that his circumstances changed. He wanted me to find out in the letter how much he's got to pay back, but it didn't say. He got annoyed with me about it and then said bye and put the phone down on me. Not the best start to the afternoon. My IC came round soon after that so I was able to tell her about it. I'm going to have to finish with the IC soon as I'm hoping to be working in the next month or so. She's a good person to talk to, but she doesn't follow the DB process so the advice she gives me isn't up there! She keeps saying "so how does that make you feel?" How it makes me feel isn't going to help me at all, I don't know how that's going to make me feel any better. I rang up the number on top of the letter, but they wouldn't allow me to change his address on there. I thought he already had! I've asked him to change his address, I don't want to be receiving his mail, especially if he's going to get angry about it and take it out on my when it's not my fault! Anyway, I'm off to my friend's later and staying over We intend to have a few glasses of wine Tomorrow we're off out all day, so that should take my mind off things A friend of mine has said I can have the back room as my beauty salon, so I'm going to get on this get started scheme to get my business off the ground Hopefully by the end of October I'll be in my new salon and getting a bit more income coming in That is my biggest GAL at the mo

That's really great that you are really close on opening your salon. And it good that you have plans this weekend to keep your mind of things that is going on right now. For this weekend I'm surprising my boys by taking them to tbs drive in to watch cloudy chance with meatballs part 2. They keep asking me to take them to see this movie. I keep telling them that I don't have The money right now. But I was able to put some money off the side for this. So I can't wait to see their faces when I take them to the movie tomorrow night.

NQ - sounds like you're starting to stress about the overwhelming task list. Time to meditate. And watch BBT. LOL - I know, not helping is it? Never mind chores - I seriously stress out about keeping up with TV shows, Netflix, stuff on streaming, and the internet in general - try as I might, I just can't view it all!
TTD - sounds like a lot going on. Even the good stuff in life can often be a cause of stress. But, you're an inspiration - going to school, starting a business. BTW, your IC makes house calls? Is that still a thing? I know what you mean about non-DBing ICs. Mine was always digging, probing, asking about feelings and issues with my dad. Classic stuff. I'm more in agreement with MWD's overall philosophy. I haven't been back to see her since I started the Meditation/Mindfulness/Stress Reduction class. We'll see how I'm doing at the end of it.
K - it's truly those little things that bring the most joy, isn't it? A drive-in movie sounds like a blast. And even better since it's a surprise!

No stress here MH . If the chores don't get done, they don't get done. I've always been a firm believer that life is too important to put it on hold for housework . But I may still have to put the TV in the living room, or the computer in the rec room so I can multi-task LOL - two screens at once.

I just got some papers from my office about the upcoming changes here in the US. Does trying to understand it count as GAL? LOL. But I won't divert the convo to healthcare. That could be very political and wouldn't want to get us booted off. Besides, that's no fun. I'm sure there's some TV shows yet we haven't discussed.
Anyone watch The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones? I had to subscribe to HBO just because I couldn't wait a year for GoT to get to DVD.
I've heard GoT is good and was recommended to watch it. Can't afford HBO so I'm going to have to wait until it comes out on DVD . S13 loves BBT and Hawaii 5-O - and that's just been moved to Friday nights this season so he can watch it, instead of streaming on internet. He also used to watch CSI: NY but now that's been axed he's out of luck on that - at the time he wanted to be a CSI after he finishes school. H's beer buddy loaded his Netflix account onto our Mac and on the iPad but both of those moved out with H. I'm thinking I might ask him if he'd mind loading it onto my computer .

Well I've just bought the 1st season of BBT to watch it from the beginning That'll free up some space on my TV and I can watch it in order now We're going to watch 2 episodes tonight before X factor Chill out night with my son tonight I've had a lovely weekend so far, I stayed at my friend's last night and then today we went out for the day. I don't think I'll be up late tonight as I'm tired
