So it is all quiet on the Eastern front - nothing from W or kids - I have been sending the kids short friendly notes or texts every day - trying to stay in touch while on this 3 plus week trip - is this pursuing? Should I not be doing this? Not hearing from them has always been one of the hardest things about these trips.
