I can't understand Scots either MH, lol

Neither can I and I used to work with one. Believe it or not, I was asked once what part of Scotland I came from - and this was when I was sitting in a bus station in Bristol while on holiday - sweet little old lady but I'm still trying to figure why on earth should would have thought my accent was even close to Scottish

So my volunteering stint with the Cadets is now done. Poor kids - it absolutely poured it down all day. Luckily most of the stores they were stood at allowed them to stand inside. The parents supervising got wetter as we were the ones going back and forth between car and store, and store to store, checking on the kids. And of course didn't it stop raining and the sun come out an hour after we finished for the day - figures .
