Yeah, I keep my self-help books off of there, for good reason. smile

So, anyway, if you look in the app, it should have the scan function in there. Can be a bit tricky to line up, but it lets you know when it locks onto the bar code. You can scan a bunch of books in a batch, then add to your lists.

Can't you set up a new account as well then we can recommend self help books to each other? Have you got another email that you could use?

I can try that. I sent a request using my "real" ID. You can ignore that, or add both. Just don't get confused. LOL. I'll let you know when I create it.

I don't have goodreads yet, but I will. I've got to set up a new Apple account though as at the moment my phone is still linked to H's account which means that everything I download to my phone is automatically downloaded to his when he links to his computer and updates. I found that out last week when I downloaded a game app my son wanted and H asked what it was that I'd downloaded - nosy bugger smile I'll deal with that tomorrow evening or Sunday and then I'll download the app and link up with you two on there.

Got home from work this afternoon to find my dad sitting in the garage with his toolbox waiting for me. He then pulled the old battery and put the new one in while I got changed and dished up dinner. Overall the new battery ended up costing me over $30 less than the auto club wanted to provide and install their new one - the store that he bought the new one from gives a credit if you return the old battery to them for proper disposal so while I was out with the Cadets tonight he went back to the store and returned the old battery. The Cadet commanding officer joked about putting me at a closer location tonight just in case smile - last night I was at the furthest point from the meet-up location. Updated her on what the auto club had said, promised that the new battery would mean I wouldn't be breaking down tonight and when I dropped the kids back at the end of the evening I joked that "as promised, returned to same point as collected".

The discussion on accents reminded me. The English lady my W knew from a previous job (the troublemaker they deported back to England, lol) told us not to feel bad about not understanding Scots. She had to go on a business trip to Scotland. She spent the entire day not understanding a word that was said by her host. laugh
