My W and I had a nice chat session today. I offered her the extra bookshelves, some exercise gear she wanted, and she's bringing the sewing kit over so I can divide it up and have some stuff over here. So I can keep my knickers stitched up. wink

Laughter is awesome therapy. Here's a good fake it 'til you make it tip: smile - even if you don't want to. Make sure it's a big, one (has to include the eyes, or it's just not cutting it!). Just smile for as long as you can, and see if you don't feel just a bit better. grin

Here's an even better one. Practice having a good belly laugh at nothing. Just start faking it, and you'll crack yourself up, I guarantee it, then you'll keep going. Might not want to try it in public, though. I've done it in my car while driving alone. The looks on the faces of passing motorists is priceless. laugh

With my first ex, BD was around Thanksgiving. I was in the AF and stationed in AK, far from my family. My friends had their parents up visiting, and W didn't want to have to call it off, so we spent a nice (NOT!) dinner faking like we were just a perfectly happy family. cry

lol I know what you mean about their mind, I wouldn't like to think what's going through my H's mind. It's probably so mixed up anyway, you'd never find the way out again, lol.
yes BD is definitely good for losing weight. I was already on a diet anyway and so I have to keep telling people that I intended to lose this weight and it's not just through stress, lol. Everyone says to me, oh you've lost loads of weight, mind you that's hardly surprising!

They really know how to time it don't they? Totally destroy your world but do it at a time when you can't simply crawl into a corner and curl up because you've got to sweet and happy and seemingly carefree.

I don't have to fake it when I'm talking to you two. You keep me laughing with some of the things we talk about on here smile I like the bit that you said about the motorist, lol. I can just see their faces now!

Also glad you had a nice chat session with your W about bookshelves, etc. You're lucky that your wife is giving you some of her sewing kit, I don't think H would give me some of his toolkit, lol.

I don't have to fake it either. Only problem is - I'm at work right now and I'm sure I keep getting funny looks as I'm sitting looking at my computer smiling to myself.

Yes, it's Friday afternoon and yes, this place is close to dead - only the assistants left at work for some strange reason - and yes, both my bosses have gone for the day cool

Yes you are so right there. The first time this year that H thought he'd stay away I was in the middle of eating a lunch in a church hall. I hurried up and finished whilst furiously texting H saying thanks for nothing, you timed that perfectly! Got a few more texts in like you do and he didn't reply to any of them. No surprises there!
The second time I was on the train on the way home from a day trip out with my son. Both times I had my son with me and so I had to keep a brave face on. My son was trying to read my texts like he normally does, so I had to keep shouting at him. Got a few looks from the other passengers, they probably thought what's the big deal!
Anyway, we mustn't dwell on these things smile It's wine o'clock time, so I'll see you in a min smile Hic!

Maybe I should offer H half of our sewing kit - I can't sew a button on so I don't need it lol smile. I know I won't get half of his toolkit - he'll tell me I don't need it as dad's got his own tools.
