I think you did good in your response. Hard not to say, just snap a picture with your phone and text it to the OW for her opinion, right?
Think that qualifies as a duh moment - I didn't even think about the camera on my iPhone. I could have snapped a pic and just shown it to him .
And the debt counsellor this morning jinxed me as well. She was on about having an emergency fund to cover car repairs, etc. So tonight I'm volunteering to drive and supervise a group of Cadets on their fundraising and doesn't my car go and die just as it was time to pick them up and return them to base. I had to call the commanding officer to rescue the kids and call the auto club to rescue me. The auto club turns up, runs a test on the battery and announces it needs replacing . Could do without that expense! Anyway, they get the car started, I get it home and my dad, the mechanic, gets it on trickle charge. And I'm supposed to be driving cadets again tomorrow. Looks like dad is going to take my car tomorrow and get a new battery and I'll borrow his so that mine will be ready for tomorrow night and the cadet run.
Definitely a large glass of wine night . Suppose I should be glad it's nothing more expensive than a new battery.
