Still not heard from H and he's been back since yesterday. I'm not ringing him, but I still need to talk to him about boundaries and also nosyness about this OW. He's supposed to be having my son over on Sat, he better not cancel as I've made plans!
My mother rang me today! She cannot seem to have a conversation without having a go at H! She said I bet H feeds my son junk food when he goes over there. Trouble is she lets it slip in when I'm least expecting it so I'm not ready with a quick response, more like a shocked reaction!
Luckily the phone call was cut short because my Iceland delivery arrived - saved by the doorbell smile
Funny how she'd never rang at all when H was living with me, yet she always rings my sister.
I've got all tense and cross after the phone call, in fact I think I've spent my whole day being tense and cross in general, lol. Luckily I've bought some more wine for later to make a spritzer with smile I'm not an alcoholic but I do like the occasional drink or two or three smile lol, only kidding!

That’s a parent thing LOL smile. They seem to have a knack for things like that. You probably have the ability to get responses out of your son without trying too hard - it all comes down to timing and delivery.

Don’t they say a glass of wine a day is good for you wink. It’s the binge drinking that’s frowned upon by the medical field.

I'm only going to have a rose wine spritzer tonight smile I've been going cold turkey for about a week and I really need one tonight, lol. I know it's probably not going to destress me, but I'll feel better for it smile
What do you call one glass? lol. You can get glasses where you can fit the whole bottle in if you want smile Only kidding smile

Getting stressed again, this time with my friend. She texts me when I was having a life coaching session and says she needed to talk. I rang her after I'd left and she wasn't answering her phone. She's just messaged me on FB to ask if I can meet up with her tomorrow. I cancelled my other friend and sent her a message back saying yes I could and she's not replied, GRrrrrr! I bet it's something and nothing as well, she can be such a drama queen! Roll on wine o'clock! hehe smile

TtD, Here is a very good place to practice detachment...on your friend! LOL

Hopefully it's nothing serious and she just needs a friend.

Enjoy your wine tonight, relax and de-stress. you deserve it.

LOL - I've got wine glasses in 4 different sizes so I just pick the size that best suits my stress level smile.

Actually after spending the evening running around with a bunch of Cadets, chances are I'll need one of those glasses tonight smile. And I've been good as well - I've still got half a bottle in the fridge from early last week.

NQ, that is good smile I'm normally pretty good as well, a bottle last me a week when I mix it with lemonade though I think I'll be joining you in a large one as well tonight, along with a bit of big bang theory to de stress me smile lol
