I'm so glad life is returning to normal levels. And you have learned techniques here that will work with everyone including your kids. It is a greater and deeper love to not let them walk all over you.
My H is a really nice guy, I'm glad you see that. I'm so grateful he was willing to work on his issues and now we are working together on family dynamics, our M, and my fears I have occasionally. It's more like a happy rhythm of life
