That reminds me of a show we used to watch on BBC America. It was one of those where the women are played by men - like on Monty Python. Can't remember the name. It was set in a little village that was isolated. Someone exclaimed "local places?" in a loud, shocked voice because it was implied there might be a need to go outside the village. That's been an in joke with my W and I for over a decade, and I can't remember what the show was....
