[Not Quitting]

I had deliberately arranged to see H on my way home from cadets - S13's bedtime is an excuse to leave that he couldn't argue with. He seems to have a harder time dealing with the significant dates such as our late son's birthday or the anniversary of his passing than I do. Every year, at least twice a year at that, he'll go out and spend a lot of time with Jack - and he keeps telling me that it's time we let it go. And as Jon F said I got a free drink out of it, and S13 got two free ginger ales .

H called early this morning to say no ill effects from last night. He also let it slip that he'd been picked up from the bar by "a friend" (translation OW)and that he'd stayed over at their place and the thought of that didn't bother me in the slightest. And I know it was OW because if it wasn't he would have said the friend's name instead of just "a friend".
