Let me give up the need to know why things happen as they do.
I will never know and constant wondering is constant suffering.

Positivespin,

I live in Maine too. In the southern part of the state. Maybe we can connect.

Self confidence starts with the belief in yourself PS. Pick something you know you are good at. Have the confidence to do or say what you need to do. Failure is absolutely a possible outcome but that is what makes us even better, even more knowledgeable....

These things will not define you. If you need something to define you, let your D3 do it. I wanna be her when I grow up!!!

This is some great advise!

Having self confidence issues myself I realize the boys think the world of me and that makes me feel so confident.

Just observing them learning new things, they fail at times but continue trying until they succeed.

Parenthood is a 2 way street, you can learn just as much from them as they can from you! smile

About the mixer.... Maybe she is making YOU a cake!

Thinking of you, PS!

Although my H doesn't dare take kitchenware, I look at "stuff" and think,"if he really thinks he needs that to be happy, then fine...I will buy a brand new one instead!" Every "new" thing is a fresh start, I think. smile

Back- I live near the capital and love traveling the state- lets arrange ( I noticed you missed our Boston trip) I have my backpack and love GAL activities.

Maritimer- d3.5 was teaching me ballet tonight. Yes, I was tapping into my inner ballerina to some J. Buffett songs.....I sooo hope the neighbors were watching!

Turtle my friend, I've made the decision that I will buy no new stuff. If we do ever sell this house - hoping for an out of stater who would giggle at the asking price- everything I buy I will have to move.....yuck

Besides, all disposable income will be spent on trips and clothing moving forward. Will prob have to get a car soon as well.

Major decision facing me right now - I need to go cologne shopping...so many choices, it's a headache waiting to happen

Make ME a cake...lol , you all kill me

Good morning! Have a awesome day you beautiful people..please hug yourself for me smile

GOod for you, PS! You have a vision of clarity about YOU in YOUR FUTURE! I like this! Trips and clothing (& cologne....hmmm)!

And, inner ballerina...well, not sure about this! LOL!

I hear you about the packing thing- more stuff to move is not good.
