I know that feeling with the $. Here I am worried sick about taxes due on 2 houses, and trying to buy a car, and at the book store I buy both of us a pile of book. And we could each read for a year - her maybe 5 years - just from what we've already got stockpiled, never mind the library! I worried she'd just put them on the CC, and somehow most of the big expenses keep coming back to me. How far we've come since the days of "we need to separate our finances." I noticed a while back she never says "your house" or "my house" or "my car" or "my credit card" anymore. It's always "this house" and "the other place" etc. But, I'm over here talking about myself again.... oops.
About that Bucket woman! LOL. I love when the neighbor would avoid her because "she'll sing at me!"
