Fat chance! She will legitimize the negative behaviour. Abusers also work slowly, it starts with little tests and if those fly it escalates. A slight nudge becomes a push, a push becomes a slap and a slap becomes a punch,and they'll never do it again! Same with emotional abuse. Anyway, enough of my thoughts here. I just hope they help.
