lol NQ Just to let you both know that my decluttering mission is complete and I even managed to get my teen son to help as well He can be just like Kevin the teenager at times, lol. What do you mean you've never seen it? lol. Another one for you to google
That's great. What did you have to bribe your son with? LOL. I'm going to have to offer mine some kind of incentive to help.
I don't know about MH but I've heard of Kevin - Harry Enfield.
Both 50 S14 M 16 yrs (his 3rd; my 1st)

I didn't have to bribe him with anything believe it or not, lol. He did want to put to off until tomorrow though, but I said no we'll do it now He did say why are we doing something else tomorrow, which I replied yes we're watching a movie and popcorn in the afternoon, so I suppose that was the bribe

Brilliant! As those Brits love to say. LOL. Now, how am I going to shower, get the house cleaned up a bit, or get any other chores done when I have to watch all these Kevin vids now?!
Have you ever watched The IT Crowd? Being in IT, I love it. But it's funny even for the non IT crowd.
BTW, one thing I've always admired about British TV is that venerated actors can do shows AND movies without any stigma attached. That trend is only just taking hold over here. Used to be TV actors were only able to get bit parts or be in B rated movies, etc. Part of the problem, of course, is that US TV has way too many episodes per season (or series, as you say). It's like a lifetime commitment if they should be so lucky to be a hit. Of course that often leads to several seasons where the writers are just phoning it in and the show "jumps the shark."
You said you're a night owl - guess you'll be staying up late to catch up on telly LOL .
And some British actors even make it in Hollywood - Dame Helen Mirren comes to mind immediately. And she used to do a television series where she played a police inspector (Prime Suspect).
I've never heard of The IT Crowd - guess I'll be hitting YouTube later.

I've heard of the IT crowd, but I've never really got into it. My H likes it though There's so much good TV on at the mo, though I'm on here more than I watch TV, lol. I get restless when I'm watching TV, I can't sit still for that long! I suppose it's because when I'm watching TV I'm on my own, but when I'm on here talking to you lot I don't feel like I'm on my own You'll have to watch Kevin the teenager MH, he's brilliant. The best episode is when he turns from a 12 year old to a teenager overnight. I think that would be the first episode to watch, then the one after that is when his dad asks him to wash the car and he takes all day about it. I won't spoil it too much, you've got to see it

Oh yes and you're right, we do say brilliant a lot, lol. There's a character from the fast show that just says brilliant all the time Sorry watch the kevin vids first and then I'll introduce you to the fast show, lol.

Of course now, with Harry Potter the whole world is probably saying brilliant all the time!
So, W just cancelled tonight because she didn't feel well. And I was relieved! Not like early on when I wanted to avoid here. Just because I'm kind of tired, behind on chores and cleaning, behind on tasks for work, and.... wait for it.... have too much TV to catch up on.
I think I need to cancel cable again. There's too much to do just keeping up online, and with streaming and DVDs.
