Why am I still here? Because there is some common sense still in the back of my mind. If I walk out of my job, I lose my long service leave, my career (cannot apply elsewhere for this job) and my hope for being a better person in my families eyes. I agree how good it would be to simply get up and go, but at my age I have to think very carefully about it's repercussions.
