I do try hard not to use Brit statements here as it confuses people
I have to remember not to use Brit terms at work and with a lot of my friends. Not always easy after spending 12 years in England, having a dad and an H from England, not to mention in-laws, a cousin and several friends. LOL. I've had a few funny looks when something's slipped out that co-workers or Canadian friends don't understand.
