Yep, used to watch Inspector Frost. And other David Jason shows are Porridge and Darling Buds of May (with a very young Catherine Zeta Jones playing his daughter) - they're a lot older though (predate Only Fools and Horses).

S13 and I have great fun watching movies that are supposed to be set in the US and pointing out landmarks in our city. We frequently come across film or TV shooting sites when out and about. In fact, a couple of years ago we got tickets to Harlem Globetrotters. While S13 loved that show, the highlight of his day was afterwards when we walked from the stadium into the main shopping area and walked right into the set for a very popular show and he was allowed to have his pic taken sitting in one of the police SUVs and next to the command truck. Too bad none of the show's stars were on set at the time.

And watching TV can be considered GALing - if it's something you gave up for your spouse - I certainly did as the PC is in one room and the TV in another so I gave up a lot of shows in favour of trying to spend time with H while he played on the computer.
