Yep, you got it. Ever see Inspector Frost? David Jason is great! What I like about British shows is how they can make the mundane, everyday situations interesting. Here it's either over dramatized fluff or scripted down to the pauses for laughter.
Used to watch DaVinci's Inquest. Nice to see Canadian cities on TV not pretending to be Seattle, or NYC. I must admit, though, that my favorite show from north of my borders is Red Green. Funny this started off as a DIY show discussion because a lot of the shows on HGTV and DIY Network are Canadian. I always see the Canada Film Credit logo - at the end.
