First thing's first. I understand you're hurting badly now, but you've got to get legal representation right now, today. If not, he and the OW will take everything from you. Get someone there who can help you get immediate support.

I know how hard it is, but you can't lay down now. You must protect yourself at all costs because he's not thinking about you at all and your well being. Please do so asap.

AA, I am so very sorry.

When they are in crisis, they are not thinking clearly. They need a fix for what is broken and sometimes they will do anything to get it.

No one knows what the future holds, sweetie. I do know this. You are a strong woman. You will get through this. I promise you that.

So, it is ok to feel what you feel for right now. When you are ready, you will need to gather your strength. So rest, eat, exercise and pray if you are so inclined.

Come here and write your thoughts and feelings out.

Remember that you are in control of you. You get to decide how you are going to live your life, AA.

You can do this.

No idea...

we had a discussion a few weeks back about how he was staying with "some people" until he decided what to do next..

Lies and more lies...

She is from the new social group he joined just over a year ago. He has known her for less number of months than we were together in years!

Okay, after reading through your situation, I would have told you that he was having an A earlier. Sorry about that.

But you MUST protect yourself. Is he still legally married to you?

No. It told me that he was having an A. It was fairly obvious.

Okay, so you were together 20 years. Do you have any assets together? Savings, property, etc.? Go to the bank immediately to make sure he hasn't locked you out of any accounts or has withdrawn all the money.

AA, MrBond is right. You need to put your feelings aside for the moment and protect yourself. Find out what rights you have regarding a long term committment.

This is tough stuff, but, trust me, you need to focus on this right now.

It would seem life is not so funny when the shoe is on the other foot...

I unplugged my phone line less that 24 hours ago. And it would seem that the estate agents have been in contact with EXPartner because I cancelled one viewing and they have another couple who also wish to look. But they cannot contact me.

He has in the last hour, called my mobile - which I sent to voice mail- sent a text message, and an e-mail. all asking me to contact him. He will apparently be here to see me tomorrow after work. He may be unlucky!!!

I have started to lock and bolt the front door, and use the rear door - to which he doesn't have a key...

It may be petty, but it has made me feel better.

HI AA, just caught up on your sitch and stopped by to give you a hug. Listen, do what you have to until you feel stronger. If it includes locking door so be it.

A little proactive stuff always helps when the hurt is almost too much to bear. See a lawyer and find out your rights. Watch out that you are not in violation of any terms on the agent contract by making house unavailable, you don't need that stress.

Do you have a friend in RL? Call him or her, get away for a bit, go visit your family, it will do you good.

(((AA)))
