It's my 12 Year Bombiversary!!! So let's see...

He is still working while I am retired. He sees the kids a couple of times a year for a couple of hours while they spend all major holidays with me and Ashley just lived with me for the summer & is moving nearby. Their R with him is strained, their R with me is great! He lives with OW who controls his every move, spending his weekends taking care of the young kids her son fathered but abandoned. I spend my weekends with Josh - wining, dining, boating and enjoying fun, relaxing times.

He appears to still be drinking and the craziest things come out of his mouth according to the kids. He still lashes out at me & threatens at least once a year. Such garbage!

Ashley is moving to her new apt this weekend while I'm off on my Alaska trip (it just worked out that way) but Josh is helping her - bringing his tools to help put up shelves, curtain rods & pictures. Ashley's new friend (boyfriend?) is helping too. I just wish I could be here but - oh well. I will help when I get home.

Synopsis: don't really care what ex is up to unless it affects the kids.

I love my life!!! It doesn't get better than that!

Ashley: Mom - what are your EXACT travel dates? Me: Aug 31 to Sept 9. Ash: Mooommmm... those are the EXACT same dates as Dad's vacation. (She looks at strangely) Me: Ummm - there's something I've been meaning to tell you. Ash: Oh my GOD! Me: Yes - your dad & I are getting back together & going on vacation. Ash: Mom - that would be a total nightmare. Me: You're not kidding!

So - it was kinda funny. But now I just realized I could run into him and maggot and their little "grandchildren" at the airport! Same travel dates - flying to the U.S.

I sure hope he is flying out of Buffalo while I fly out of Toronto. I guess we will see!
