JCJ: I want to go everywhere. Still on the "A" places. Yesterday I was reminded by a friend (who had gone with me) that it was 10 years since we had done an amazing trip to the Amazon jungle. That was an incredible experience! I've added Australia since then & after that - I'm thinking an African safari would be in order!

I will take tons of pics & post them on FB. Still trying to figure out the wardrobe in one suitcase & be able to bring back the 2 projects I will be building onboard. First world problems...

Sissy - I need to look up Wasilla on a map so I can wave to you when I'm nearby.

I can't wait to see the pics Barb. Yes, what to pack, always a conundrum.

I really recommend Australia if you get a chance. The best year of my life!

My bucket list is to go *everywhere* smile I have been trying to concentrate a bit on Europe this year and perhaps at Christmas as I always go to more far flung places but ignore what is on my doorstep.

swl - with that recommendation I have to go now!

Australia & Hawaii were my lifelong dream destinations. Josh & I went to Australia 4.5 years ago. We loved it. Cruised from there to New Zealand then flew back & saw more oF Oz! We have a trip to Hawaii booked - it will be my 5th time. I love it there too. I'd really like to see Ireland & Italy but I'm still in the A countries!

Hawaii, another place I'd love to go to.

I haven't been to Ireland either, unbelievable as it's just next door. Well, I've been to Northern Ireland which was beautiful but not the South. Italy too... it's next on my list!

We are so lucky to travel.

Yes we are! & I really think if I'd stayed with my ex - it would never have happened. He never kept a job too long so he never got the vacation time we would have wanted. His only vacation time this year is to take OWs grand kids (very you g) to Disney World. That should be a treat - LOL.

Same with my ex too, and it was getting progressively worse. He always went back to the same place. The divorce, whilst horrible and unwanted at the time, was an opportunity.

Hey Barb, if you decide to do an African Safari in South Africa I have the perfect contact for you. The owner of my agency is a South Africa specialist and takes small groups (no more that 10-12 people usually)on a 5 star tour. They can also include Victoria Falls as an add on to the safari and touring portions. Just an FYI. smile

Hey Mish,

When the time comes - I will certainly ask you about it. Not the kind of adventure I'd be comfortable booking on my own. Sounds great!
