15km Cross Country run was done this morning. My first cross country. Throat and chest still felt horrible but I could survive. Well only one hiccup. About 1km away from the finish I had one of those spluttering coughs that took my breath away, here I am running on a road that allows cars to travel at 100km/60miles an hour and I couldn't breath. Thankfully it only lasted a few seconds and that was the only issue.
Ended up finishing the 15km in 1hr 13min and 31sec in 5th place. Only 2mins 30secs behind 1st place.
Now sitting at home with feet up eating ice cream. I do deserve it.
