Why bother having the novels when I can have so many more on the Ipad, and they take up very little shelf space. Still have some good novels or ones I haven't read yet. As a PE teacher I also had lots and lots of school books with regards to different sports etc. Realised what is the point of having them when I hadn't even looked at them for years. So they were given away to other teachers.
