Rick, have you ever heard of anyone on this board say that someone reported seeing their ex spouse and they looked great! Nah, people love to tell you how terrible your ex looks cuz they think you'll like to hear that. The obvious message is that without you the ex is lost, unhappy etc. Just take it with a grain of salt and move on with your happy life. I certainly understand the natural fixer thing, it's a hard habit to break.
