The old saying "no good deed goes unpunished" really is true. I found this on the internet about it and for me it rings true That is a pessimistic saying. I tend to believe what goes around comes around. That is if you are good to people they are good to you and if you are mean to people you are in for trouble. I don’t know how to prove the saying no good deed goes unpunished but go out and smile at people and see if they don’t start smiling back at you. That is the simplest form of showing what goes around comes around. AS, I thought you had a more PMA than this Although I also know that we have good days and bad days and you must be having a bad day today I always remember a vicar talking to us and telling us about this man who said that if no-one smiled at him that day he would throw himself off the cliff. He was feeling that low and just wanted a friendly smile. He didn't get one, so he threw himself off the nearest cliff. That story has stuck with me for a long time and whenever I see someone looking glum in town, I always give them a smile just in case It also helps to boost your PMA. Even if I'm not doing anything on a particular day, I will go into town and have a look around the shops. I normally meet someone I know and stop to have a chat. It saves me getting fed up at home with only my son for company. My son is good company, it's just that he tends to stay up in his room most of the day. Typical teen! lol
