Food expenses for three teens at the beach were pretty high, lol! Refrigerator mandatory. I baked a gigantic lasagna on day one that served for lunch, snacks, and midnight feedings for a few days. We got our money's worth at the all u can eat crableg place. I loaded the kitchen up with hot pockets and ramen and freez-pops, watermelon and oranges. Brought pancake mix from home, and the stuff to make egg burritos. They just eat constantly!
My gift to me was an ebook and its sequel and the time to read them, and one of those hi-calorie frozen margaritas from the grocery store, and my dogs on my porch. Quality alone time.
Also cleaned the very pathetic 30-gal fish tank, thinking to get it ready to sell, but I really like those hangers-on that have hung on through my neglect, so I bought them some buddies and am spending spare time gazing at the beautifully clean and landscaped tank and all the happy fish.
Do you know, H's friend that H moved out to live with, texted me birthday wishes? Everyone on earth but H celebrates my birthday. Phooey on him. My next husband is going to bring me flowers.
