I haven't heard from the W in a week and a half and she is supposed to be having her procedure in the middle of the month. Anybody have thoughts on me texting her to see how she is doing?
I would absolutely check in with her. My W recently had cancer surgery and I suspended being dim and have been reaching out to offer her assistance around her house as well as emotional support. Maybe it's not good DB'ing, but it felt like the right thing to do to me.
