Yesterday was Marc's 'meet the teacher' night for school. They start on Monday so this was the schedule pick up, pay all your fees (or all you can manage at the moment! HA!), etc. Well.....his schedule was all messed up. He only has 2 real academic classes he needs this year (econ/gov and environmental science) so the rest are filler. He had signed up to take guitar this year and he was SO excited about it. Unfortunately, guitar is only offered 1 period and it coincides with the only period they offer the econ class with the collaborative services he needs. He is SOOOOOO bummed. Poor kiddo. They put him in a food science class...no way!...and an written and oral communications class. He wanted to know if they were trying to punish him for something with that one! His counselor is trying to see what she can do to fix it. It's not looking too good though. He is limited with what he can do because of 2 measly collaborative classes that are locked in place.
