Consult two separate Ls.

In Malaysian Law, custodianship is awarded to one parent and it favours the mother. Even its contested, mothers usually wins unless proof is shown that the mother is incapable to care.
There is no provision for joint custody. The other spouse can have access to the children but with reasonable notification.
