Sweet Stuff also joined us, so she can weigh in on him too. I was famished and by the time we left, my blood sugar was low and I was crabby. Then I accidentally threw my car key (in the dark) and couldn't find it for another 45 minutes. Try looking for a black key in pitch black darkness - with no light except for my cell phone. Poor Sweet Stuff had to put up with my frustration.
On a good note, I picked up a side bookkeeping job this morning. I've really missed doing the books for D19's volleyball club (though I really don't miss the amount of time I had to expend to do that "part time" job). This is for my work neighbor, who came over for a visit to bring me mis-delivered mail and asked me if I could recommend our bookkeeper. Uh, that's me. He told me that he was having to take QuickBooks class to learn new stuff and that he really hates doing it and was looking for someone part time.
His business uses raw materials for inventory so I'll have to brush up on work in process, but otherwise, I'm thrilled! I love, love, LOVE doing books. Getting paid is the bonus for doing a job I consider a hobby. I love problem solving. Plus, I can do the job on my own schedule. How happy am I?
