As you are the master of GAL I wonder what youd think of this?
Im taking a trip to Boston on 8/2- visiting friends- A Friday out of my office sounded like a good idea. 4 day workweeks are great (unless compared with no day workweeks). Still trying to create that opportunity
I think this is a superb GAL opportunity PS. YOu will travel, meet up with some friends and enjoy a glass of red. Chat, laugh and head home with a smile on your face, cuz that's what friends give. Good for you with that PMA and GAL!!
Ruby, I have no desire to contact H also. It has been like that for quite some time. I’m OK with him contacting me, I’m not nervous anymore. I don’t think I’m detached though. I still cannot get him out of my head most of the time. I’m trying to figure it out too. I think I don’t initiate contact because I don’t want to be disappointed and/or anxious, it is kind of a self defense mechanism for me.
Take care of yourself.
The key for me is to let go of the expectation contacting H will bring you disappointment or hope or other feelings.
This was the hardest part. Once you are there it gets easier But you have to be willing to feel those feeling yet recognize them for what they are.
Boston is such a great town! Lots of history, great food, museums and the Bruins!! You'll have such fun Ruby! PS, is yours a separate trip on the same day?

I can imagine it was very difficult to read the letter your H wrote, but it sounds like you're making great progress in your situation! I'm still a newbie here, so I don't have any pearls of wisdom, but I did want to send you good thoughts and applaud you on your tenacity. I'm rooting for you!
