Am I ready for this?

Thanks FY, SA, and Bklyn!! Bklyn I "attended" my first al-anon mtg on Monday. It was by telephone since there isn't one within an hour of where I live. It was really helpful. I could see where you could build good friendships if at a regular meeting.

I'm doing better now. The dinner went off without a hitch. I had lots of compliments on the meal, great conversation, and fun. W even chimed in with praise and laughs. I know it helps for her to see me being social with others. After everyone left she talked about some of the discussions I had with our guests. I think it makes her feel good to know others have fun around me. Just one more fun experience for her to ponder. We're such a good team.

The boys are staying with her tonight and I'll be traveling tomorrow night, so a needed break. FY you summed it up best with,"you know which plan your boys would prefer." Enough said.
