Have you discussed any financials with him? What is he going to be responsible for paying? What about time with the kids? All those should be hashed out before he leaves and get them written out if possible. Be sure that YOU come up with a plan and not leave it in his hands. Or else you're going to see some serious cake eating and the only person whose needs aren't going to be fulfilled will be yours.
