Oh no. I am so sorry to hear it. I always like Coach & Greek. They were a sharp couple. Wish they could have stayed around here. Thanks for informing us. My prayers are for his family.
It is not about what you feel should work in your M. It is about doing the work that gets the right results. Do what works!
I also want to pay tribute to Coach and offer prayers to Greek. I am not sure where I would be today if it were not for his unselfish advice. I would suggest all of you struggling here to go back and look at some of his posts in the archives. He always had great advice and his story is truly inspirational. He spent so much of his life on this earth working to improve the lives of others. He will be missed in this world, but I am sure he is still watching over us from the heavens.
So thank you Coach for your kind words and wise advice that still stir in the lives of many of us.
I'm still in shock and mourning over this. If Coach were here, he'd probably, humbly, tell you that it was me who helped HIM, but it was really the other way around. Although my time here -- and my marital issues -- preceded his, it was really his steady, strong and concise wisdom back to me . . . to ALL of us . . . that really saved my marriage.
There were others here who helped me save my wife from her affair, but it was Coach and Greek who helped me permanently save my MARRIAGE.
And Greek? In the middle of her mourning over this sudden tragedy, she takes the time to reach out to ME by phone to tell me how important my friendship was to Coach, and how much he respected my advice! I'm simply blown away by that; I have no words.
RIP, Coach. God took you WAY too young, but your legacy will live on in all the marriages you helped save, all of the individuals (especially men) you taught to stand strong, and all of the young lacrosse players you helped forge into fine young men. You taught us all that "You can handle it."
