There will be a lot of things that the WAS will do that will confuse you. I think it's because they are confused themselves and they don't really know what they want. That doesn't mean to say that she's going to walk through your door tomorrow and say I'm sorry. If she does then it won't last as we all know. HWA, you are so right in what you say, I think it is that they feel guilty about what they've done and can't admit it to our Lord. They know they have done wrong, but they are not ready to ask for God's forgiveness. My H picks my son up after Church to take him out. The last couple of times he has come in after the service for a coffee. This I think is a marked improvement, but I'm not looking for anything in it. I hope he gets his faith back and starts going to Church again. Maybe then he'll listen to what God has to say to him
