Hope my American brothers and sisters had a decent Independence Day. The W and I were in the same house, but she ignored me for the most part, We didnt go anywhere, and I ended up playing WoW all afternoon.
Just another day as the rollercoaster continues the downhill slide.

SFC, I am sorry things didnt change at all. Don't give up on D. Because the true purpose of it is personal growth. What have you learned for this M? What do you need to change? Where do you need to grow?
Use this time to become the best YOU that you can be. Then you will be prepared for either a R at some point or a new relationship.

LTH...I understand and will continue with the program. I guess you guys call it cycling...the pattern of acceptance and denial that the relationship is over.
If the W wasnt so damned distant, to the point of being almost rude at this point, things would be better. I would say shes cake eating, but if I was hnest with myself, I continue to do all the small and big things around here and for her. I need to stop that.
I did stop doing her laundry, and only do mine and my SS's. But I still cook, and go out of my way sometimes to make her favorite dishes...only to not even get a thank you.
I have got to find a better paying job and get out of this house...but that is easier said than done in my area right now...been trying for a year.

OH! Not that I truly believe it will change anything, but I went to my Congressman's office and filed a complaint about the VA, and asked for his help with my case.
Its a slam dunk case, I gave them my entire military medical file, the line of duty investigations of all the times I was wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq, and all the images of my C spine and Lumbar herniated discs...yet over a year later I (and thousands of other vets) are being pushed aside and abandoned.
We'll see how this goes.

I know what you mean about it being tough to find a job, I am experiencing the same thing. I wish you luck with your claim and I hope that the Congressman is able to help you because you (& anyone else who has served our country) deserves it. THANK YOU for your service.
