Have you heard the saying "one day at a time"?

I'm guessing you have, but have you ever given it much thought?

Think about it now, because it will make your life so much easier.

When you wake up in the morning ask yourself

Do my children and I have shelter for the day and for the night?

Do we have enough to eat today?

Do we have clothes to wear?

If the answer to those questions is yes then let go of your big worries because you can only live life one day at a time.

The other worries, the heart-worries cannot be solved by fretting, panicking, worrying, doubting or fearing.

But they may be solved, or at least lessened, with the passage of time.

You have suffered trauma to your family and marriage. Feeling pain is normal and natural. You have life changes crashing into you, feeling uncertain and nervous is normal and natural. Acknowledge those feelings but then bring your focus back to the here and now.

Does that make sense to you?
