I think you did the right thing.

NC is gonna feel uncomfortable. You are going to question if you are doing the right thing, what are you true motives, etc.

And that's just you... let alone the other doubts you are going to have about how H will perceive it all.

But the truth is that you need NC to detach. If you were strong enough to detach with contact - you would have done it.

And that's totally okay that you couldn't. I couldn't either.

But you need to love yourself now.. and unfortunately that's looking like tough love at the moment.

Keep up the NC. You know it's helping... even if it stings from time to time.
